Program Overview

Do you have a mind for Business and a heart for ministry?

If you can answer YES to the following questions, PBU's Business Administration program is for you!

  • Are you interested in leadership and contributing to the development of dynamic, effective organizations?
  • Are you interested in information management and business strategy?
  • Do you want to combine these interests for an exciting career in a church, non-profit organization or for-profit business?
  • Do you want to prepare yourself for graduate studies in business or leadership?

Business GroupOur programs are designed to help students integrate biblical and business education as they prepare for careers in churches, non-profit organizations or for-profit businesses. Our program consists of approx. 80 undergrad students and 40 graduates, with 80 Students graduated and working for companies such as Vanguard, World Trade Center of Philadelphia, Wells Fargo, the Philadelphia Flyers, or various missions agencies around the world. We have had accreditation with IACBE since 2002. We also now offer not only a Dual Degree program of Bible and Business but also a fast track program of Bible/Business with a Master's in Organizational Leadership.

Students have the privilege to do internships with the company of their choice to enhance the learning process. It is the success of these internships that gives our program a distinctive approach in Business. As an extracurricular activity, the Business Administration Department sponsors a Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) chapter. SIFE is an international organization founded in 1974, and is present on over 1,050 colleges and universities world-wide. PBU-SIFE students meet regularly to hear speakers on business issues, and to provide community service, educational outreaches and promote entrepreneurship and free enterprise. As PBU business majors, all students have the opportunity to be involved in SIFE either at the cabinet level or as a participant in the various activities. SIFE corporate sponsors offer students internships and employment opportunities.
