PBU’s Camping Program will provide you
with an opportunity to prepare for a lifetime of ministry
through Christian Camping. The Camping Program gives students two curriculum options. Each option gives students the opportunity
to develop a foundational knowledge of the Bible, a broad
base of knowledge for life and service, and skills specifically
needed in Christian Camping. We believe in the value of "hands-on" experience.
Students will spend their last year in an intensive training
program at Camp
Forest Springs in Wisconsin.
Camp Forest
Springs is a ministry known for its excellence in purpose
and programming. It is a model camp from which students can
learn. Students will learn to manage a Christian camp by
actually doing it! They will learn in the classroom as well
as "on the job" as they learn about every aspect
of running a Christian camp. Through the year, each student
will develop their own handbook for starting a camp of their
own. Students graduate with a B.S. in Bible and a major in
Christian Camping.
We believe that God will continue to use camping to reach
people that would never be reached in any other way and
to challenge believers for His glory. If you have an
interest
in camping and you believe that God has gifted you to be
a leader in Camping Ministries here in the United States
and around the world, come and join us!
