Youth Ministries program offers many unique
opportunities and benefits intended to provide
our students with the best, most well-rounded
education possible to equip them for their calling.
These distinctives include the following:

Outstanding Bible Training
It
is our conviction that what Youth Workers need most
is to KNOW THE WORD OF GOD! Only God's Word has the
answers to the problems and needs that our world is
facing. At PBU you will learn the Word of God. We
have one of the finest Bible Faculties in the world.
During your time at PBU you will learn about every
book of the Bible and every major Bible doctrine in
addition to church history. If you want to learn the
Word, come and study with us!
Youth Ministry Experience
We believe that one of the most
important components in Youth Ministry Traning is
hands-on EXPERIENCE, and one of the greatest things
about our program is the abundance of youth ministry
opportunities. Within just a 15 mile radius there
are over 600 churches.
Many of these churches are seeking college students
to come and join their youth ministry programs. We
have an outstanding working relationship with several
key youth ministries in our immediate area. The full-time
youth pastors at these churches are looking for men
and women from our program so that they can establish
a mentoring relationship with them. We will encourage
you and provide opportunities for you to be fully
involved with teenagers during your time at PBU!
In addition, we have established
relationships with a number of partners who are helping
students, including: the Allies Youth Network, Student
Venture and others. Ministry opportunities include
youth groups, youth clubs (such as Young Life and
Student Venture) and inner city opportunities. We
also have overseas opportunities each summer.

SonLife and Purpose-driven Youth
Ministry Training
At
PBU, you will develop a strong philosophy for Youth
Ministry which will include a well-defined statement
of purpose, a clearly-articulated ministry strategy,
as well as an understanding of God's vision for the
ministry. You will aquire a deep understanding of
"SonLife" and the "Purpose-Driven Youth
Ministry" strategies.
All of our PBU Youth Ministry
instructors have received training in the SonLife
Strategy. They have used the strategy for a number
of years in their own Youth Ministries. The SonLife
Strategy is taught and applied throughout the Youth
Ministries Program at PBU.
Diverse Ministry Opportunities
PBU is in an excellent location
for Inner City Ministry. We are just minutes from
Trenton, Camden, Chester and Philadelphia. We have
an outstanding working relationship with many inner-city
ministries and many of our students participate in
dynamic inner-city ministries. There are also numerous
summer missions opportunities. In recent years students
have ministered in Mexico, Ireland, Kenya, Dominican
Republic, China, France and more!
Well-rounded Education
Your PBU course work also includes
general education classes that will help to give you
a well-rounded educational experience. These classes
are vitally important to a Youth Worker who is seeking
to build integrity and respect as he or she makes
an impact for Christ in the church and in the community.

Partnership with Youth Specialties
We
are happy to announce that we have established a partnership
with one of the finest publishers of Youth Ministry
resources in the world. Youth Specialties provides
our students with samples of all of their latest releases.
Students are also given outstanding discounts to the
National Convention and Resource Seminars.
Jam!
During this annual
event, our students train Junior Highers as they reach
out to inner-city children through our exciting Kids'
Day Event! Over the last three years over 100 children
came to know Christ as Savior through this event!
