Welcome to the School of Education Undergraduate Division home page! PBU has a tremendous educational program to offer you!

PBU’s teacher education programs are unique! Here at PBU you can earn two degrees: a B.S. in Education and a B.S. in Bible as well as two teaching certificates: Pennsylvania Instructional I, (public school certificate) and ACSI Standard, (Christian school certificate). There are currently eleven programs from which to choose and a new TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program.

Qualified candidates can earn a B.S. in Bible degree and an M.S. in Education degree in a dual-level program. Visit our dual-level program page for more info!

Over 250 students at PBU are currently studying to become teachers. Well over 900 teacher education graduates are serving in Pennsylvania and around the world.

The PBU program is relatively large for a small university. We have 11 full-time faculty working with education majors. Our purpose and goals are described in the following pages. Read on and see if you might be a candidate for a PBU teacher education program.
