Personal Information/Biography:

  • Born in 1935 in Annville, PA
  • Grew up on a farm in Lebanon County, PA
  • Played baseball and soccer in high school and college
  • Wife- Carole;  Married in 1957 in Lee, MA
  • Four Children- Carla (homemaker in Montana), Alan (trumpet teacher in Missouri), David (electrical engineer in Washington State), Eric (computer technician at Sunoco);  All married and rearing their own families.  Total of six grandchildren.
  • Taught at Grace College of the Bible (now Grace Univ.) in Omaha, NE from 1962-83.
  • Member and elder at Feasterville Baptist Church- Feasterville, PA
  • Member of National Association of Scholars
  • Served as Dean of School of Arts & Sciences at PBU, 2001-2007
