- Grew up on a farm in Lebanon County, PA
- Played baseball and soccer in high school and college
- Wife- Carole; Married in 1957 in Lee, MA
- Four Children- Carla (homemaker in Montana), Alan (trumpet
teacher in Missouri), David (electrical engineer in Washington
State), Eric (computer technician at Sunoco);
All married and rearing their own families. Total
of six grandchildren.

in Omaha, NE from 1962-83.
