- Oldest of seven children
- Wife- Paula and three children- Kristen, Colleen and Michael
- Have been in Christian higher education since 1973 with
the exception of three years at Texas A&M University
- Served at PBU for six years in the 1970s before returning
in 1997
- Have coached baseball, basketball and tennis at the college
level
