 At PBU, our programs offer a truly distinctive approach to university education. Although students diversify into 50 programs of study, each one benefits from a core of Biblical studies that provides an essential foundation for all life and learning. Students also receive a quality general education by taking courses in the Arts and Sciences that provide a biblically integrated perspective on the broader spectrum of knowledge in the various academic disciplines. Professional studies provide biblically integrated vocational preparation for specific areas of service ranging from professional church and para-church ministry, to education, social work, business, and music. Every area of the curriculum combines to form a coherent whole that is centered upon the Bible and prepares the student for life, work, and further study. Our academic climate encourages students to live an intentionally Christian life and serve others as they develop personally, intellectually, socially, professionally, and spiritually.
