Thanks for
your interest in PBU's Wisconsin Wilderness Campus!
WWC is a unique alternative to a traditional year of
college. Accredited
by Middle States Association of Colleges, WWC is an
extension campus of Philadelphia Biblical University
situated in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest
in northwest Wisconsin.
WWC has all of the features of the traditional college
program--students go to classes, write papers, pull
all-nighters, take exams, hang out in the dorms, do
laundry, eat, sleep and socialize.
However, WWC is also unlike any other college.
Where else can you fight the rapids of a river in a
white water kayak...discuss theology with a professor
on a snowshoe outing...enjoy the serenity of an early
morning canoe with a close friend....explore backwood
trails on a mountain bike with a staff member...or hike
a lonely trail to spend some time alone with God? All
of this in one year!
As great as these events sound, I know from experience
that what a student receives from a year at WWC goes
far beyond the tangible elements mentioned above. The
greatest things offered at WWC are those inward changes
that take place within each individual who spends a
year here. Intangible elements such as growth, change,
direction, maturity, responsibility and genuine spirituality
are what WWC is all about. If you are seeking to pursue
such areas in your life, I encourage you to invest a
year at WWC!
I look forward to continued contact with you!
Sincerely,

Suzanne Fisher
