NCAA Div. III - National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division III
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a voluntary association of about 1,200 colleges and universities, athletic conferences and sports organizations devoted to the sound administration of intercollegiate athletics.
The NCAA strives to maintain intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the educational program and the athlete as an integral part of the student body.
The goals of the Association are:
- Promote student-athletes and college sports through public awareness.
- Protect student-athletes through standards of fairness and integrity.
- Prepare student-athletes for lifetime leadership.
- Provide student-athletes and college sports with the funding to help meet these goals.
"Colleges and universities in Division III place highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of all students' academic programs. They seek to establish and maintain an environment in which a student- athlete's athletics activities are conducted as an integral part of the student-athlete's educational experience. They also seek to establish and maintain an environment that values cultural diversity and gender equity among their student-athletes and athletics staff."

NCCAA Div. II - National Christian College Athletic
Association, Division II
For
more than 25 years, the NCCAA has provided ministry and outreach to thousands
of young men and women through the promotion and enhancement of intercollegiate
athletic competition with a Christian perspective.
The NCCAA strives to vigorously promote Christian values and purpose of life through
sports within over 100 Christian colleges and universities. A combined total of 16
national championships are sponsored by the NCCAA, representing well over 10,000
student-athletes and 450 coaches each year. Each competition, whether regional or national
in scope, includes components of outreach ministry and service to both the athletes and
host community. The NCCAA also sponsors international competition, with emphasis on
ministry opportunities. Student-athletes participate in mission endeavors in countries
throughout the world...sharing their witness for Jesus Christ, while engaging in top-level
athletic competition.
NEAC - North Eastern Athletic Conference
The North Eastern Athletic Conference is composed of 12 charter members including, Philadelphia Biblical University (Langhorne, PA), Baptist Bible College (Clarks Summit, Pa.), Bard College (Annadale-On-Hudson, N.Y.), Cazenovia College (Cazenovia, N.Y.), Chestnut Hill College (Philadelphia, Pa.), D'Youville College (Buffalo, N.Y.), Keuka College (Keuka Park, N.Y.), Keystone College (La Plume, Pa.), Pennsylvania State University-Berks (Reading, Pa.), Polytechnic University (Brooklyn, N.Y.), SUNY Purchase (Purchase, N.Y.), and Villa Julie College (Stevenson, Md.).
The NEAC will offer a full slate of championships in 12 sports, including men's soccer, women's soccer, men's cross country, women's cross country, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, and golf. The conference will have Automatic Qualifier status to NCAA post-season championships beginning in 2006-07.
