The Crimson Eagle Softball team accomplished great things this year, winning 11 games, placing three freshmen on the NCCAA East Region Team, and hitting the second most runs of any NEAC team.  The season had a disappointing end; missing the playoffs by only two runs or one win, but we played every team in the NEAC tough and split or played close games with everyone above us in the standings.  Building off of this years’ momentum and the fact that we fielded a very young team and only lost two seniors, we expect the team to do even better next year.  We are looking to build a tradition of successful softball here at PBU.
