Loesser brings to the sidelines a wealth of soccer experience as both a player and a coach. He played high school soccer at nearby Steinert High in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, and later began his collegiate playing career at Delaware Valley College where he patrolled the midfield for three years and also served as captain. Loesser ended up transferring and playing for Trenton State College in his final year of college.

Loesser's coaching career began locally with the Hamilton Township Recreational Soccer Association in 1991 and has continued while he's served in various roles with several competitive soccer programs. Most recently, Loesser served at Mercer Christian Academy in Ewing, NJ as the head varsity girls' coach from 2003-2006.

"Dave brings to the women's soccer team valuable experience that will benefit the program," said Athletic Director Drew Watson. "I'm looking forward to seeing that experience yield dividends as we challenge for the North Eastern Athletic Conference title this season and move into the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference in 2008." 

"I have a passion for both soccer and coaching," said Loesser. "I'm excited for the opportunity to work with the student athletes at PBU."  

Loesser is President of The Estate Planners Group and has more than 20 years of financial planning experience to his credit.  He also serves on the board of two non-profit organizations. Loesser, his wife Eileen, and their three sons reside in Washington Crossing, PA.
