We are excited to announce that the Classic is returning to DuPont Country Club after last year's very successful outing. The date for this
year’s tournament will be Thursday, September 6, 2007.
The proceeds from previous PBU Golf Classics have assisted the
University in upgrading and maintaining the athletic fields, renovating the weight room, purchasing a new batting cage for our baseball program and also assisted in the purchase of a van to facilitate athletic team travel. Proceeds from last year’s Classic assisted the baseball and softball teams in funding of their Florida trips and helped us to upgrade our athletic equipment. The Classic is a vital part of PBU’s athletic fund raising program. This year’s funds will be used to continue the upgrade of the transportation options and to improve other very important facets of our program.
