Demographics
While many upperclassmen may choose to continue their stay in this area of campus, the vast majority of Manor Campus resident rooms are reserved for incoming freshmen and transfer students.
Who is the Manor Campus Resident Director?
Christina Rumsey is originally from Darien, CT. She began her undergraduate work at Gordon College in Massachusetts and finished her undergraduate degree in elementary education and communication from Keene State College in New Hampshire. Before moving to Langhorne she spent some time teaching 8th grade in a public school and a year working at Camp Spofford, a Christian camp in Spofford, NH. Having just begun at PBU in July 2007, Christina is filled with excitement for the work that she has to do!
A Note from Christina:
"My desire and passion for working with college-age students comes from past experience with students in the context of teaching, mission trips overseas, work with senior high youth groups, involvement in Christian camping, and my Resident Life involvement at Gordon College, where I served as a Resident Assistant during my sophomore year. God has given me the desire, ever since I was an RA at Gordon, to be part of a full-time Resident Life team, and I feel blessed to now be here on Manor Campus at PBU!"
