Each semester, close to 800 students serve in a weekly ministry (3-6 hours per week, on
average) in over 240 different and unique ministry locations ranging from urban ministry in
Philadelphia to small town ministry in churches that gratefully use our students. We
would like to invite you to come and be a part of this special day on campus. Many of
our students use this day to connect with a ministry that they will serve with for the coming
year.
We usually have 60-80 different ministries represented at our Ministry Opportunity Day and are looking
for more ministries to connect our students to. We provide a display area with a table
and electricity, continental breakfast and complimentary lunch (for one guest) and the
opportunity to connect with students who take their ministry service seriously.
In 2006-07, students from Philadelphia Biblical University spent close to 90,000 hours in
ministry to thousands of people across the world and here in our community. We
currently have students involved weekly in
church and para-church ministries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland
and New York. These churches and organizations allow students to connect what they are learning in the classroom with the realities of
ministry in the real world.
