Staff Profiles
Baron King, Director of Health Services, holds an M.S. in Christian Counseling, as well as a B.S. in Bible from Philadelphia Biblical University. He has directed the University counseling services since January, 2006. His areas of special interest include working with young adults and sexual abuse recovery. Baron is also a lab instructor in PBU’s MSCC program as well as the Director of Counseling at Crossing Community Church in Newtown PA. Baron enjoys being outdoors and is an avid mountain-biker and rock-climber. Baron and his wife Michelle live in Newtown with their three children. Email Baron here.
Peggy Pullizzi holds an M.S. in Christian Counseling from PBU and a B.B.A. in Marketing from Hofstra University. A former lab instructor in PBU’s MSCC program, Peggy’s special interests are women's issues as well as marriage and family counseling. Urick Lewis holds a MSCC from PBU and a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from The Penn State University. In addition to serving at Oasis, he is currently is employed as the Asst. Dir. of Residence Life at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Urick has a particular passion for assisting young adults reach their potential in Christ and is thrilled at the opportunity to work with PBU students on a more extensive level.
Elisa Monahan holds an M.S. in Christian Counseling, a B.S. in Bible and a B.S. in Education from PBU. Elisa, originally from the beautiful state of New Hampshire, now resides in Langhorne, PA with her husband, Ken, and their young son. Elisa is passionate about ministering to the questions, hurts, and wounds of people’s hearts and lives and helping them pursue more fully the freedom, life, and healing love of Christ. Shawn Seip holds an M.S. in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University and a B.A. in History from West Chester University. Shawn has worked in the social work field since 2004. Shawn is passionate about encouraging and ministering to anyone who is struggling in any area and wants to know the love of Christ. His interests are ministering to the poor in Philadelphia and he is a diehard sports fan. He is newly married and lives in Delaware County.
