PBU APPOINTS FIRST PROVOST
June 27, 2001
PBU has appointed its first provost, Dr. Donald L. MacCullough.
Prior to his appointment, MacCullough was Senior Vice President
and Dean of Graduate Education for the University. A 1961 graduate
of PBU, MacCullough has served the University in various positions
of leadership throughout his 26 years of service.
The newly-created provost position is part of a structural
reorganization related to the institution's attainment of University
status in July, 1999. It will allow for academic governance
in accordance with a more traditional university model. Reporting
directly to the provost will be the Associate Provosts for Undergraduate
and Graduate Education; the Director of the Learning Resource Center
and the Deans of Enrollment Management and Student Development.
MacCullough earned an M.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton
