New Senior Vice President Brings Marketing,
Business and Ministry Experience,
to
Recruitment and Promotion Needs of the University

David L. Pearson was named Sr. Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing,
a newly created President’s Cabinet position at the University that will provide oversight and creative integration of the recruitment and marketing functions.
“Mr. Pearson’s extensive marketing and business background, as well as senior level experience in enrollment management qualify him well for this position,” said President W. Sherrill Babb, whose current cabinet includes the Sr. Vice President & Provost, the Sr. Vice President for Finance & Administration and the Sr. Vice President for University Advancement. “But also, his commitment to the Lord and his desire to compassionately minister to the body of Christ, complete his credentials for this important position.”
Most recently, Pearson was Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at Indiana Wesleyan University, in Marion, IN. Prior to this, he was Corporate Marketing Manager for Professional Education at the International Society of Optical Engineering in Bellingham, WA. For seven years, he provided contract management services as a management consultant, honing his business, marketing, sales, strategic planning, finance and operational skills. Also,
he was Sr. Vice President for Land and Industrial Development Corporation in New Jersey for thirteen years.
An ordained minister, Pearson has a heart for ministry and has served in numerous bi-vocational positions providing marriage, family and pastoral counseling. He holds two masters degrees: a Master of Theological Studies from Trinity Western Seminary and a Master of Science in Christian Counseling from PBU. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. David and his wife Judie, have two grown children, Jason and Jamie.
