PBU SIFE Team Wins First Place in Ethics Competition

PBU’s Students in Free Enterprise Chapter (PBU-SIFE) won a national SIFE ethics competition, “Making a Dent in Insurance Fraud.” The PBU-SIFE competition team completed
research with national insurance representatives, developed an ethical basis to analyze and communicate the problem and wrote an executive summary. Their work was presented in a
high-impact multimedia presentation to judges from the insurance industry. PBU-SIFE was one
of more than 40 SIFE teams to enter the final competition. They were awarded $3,000 in prize money to use toward their 2008-2009 ministry and community service projects. The national
rankings were as follows:
