PBU-SIFE Wins Regionals–Headed to National Exposition

PBU’s Students in Free Enterprise (PBU-SIFE) Team has once again clinched a championship at the SIFE USA Regional Competition, qualifying them for the fifth consecutive year to participate in the National Exposition, May 13-15, in Chicago, IL. Last year they were a “Top Twenty” team out of more than 950 chapters in the nation.

To earn their bid, the PBU-SIFE Team presented results of their 17 year-long projects during a dynamic, multimedia presentation judged by 16 corporate executives and viewed by a standing-room only audience. Their presentation represented the efforts of 45 chapter members who provide the ideas, creativity and participation to implement projects that benefit area schools, social work agencies, missionary endeavors, small businesses and the PBU student body. PBU-SIFE is advised by faculty member and Sam Walton Fellow Gail Benchener. PBU-SIFE’s mission is to “glorify God by educating and empowering others through free enterprise.”
